What caught my attention in the article:
The picture (the holiday setting, the sea looking so calm yet she is so treacherously dangerous), and this statement:

The crystal clear Blue Lagoon is popular with holidaymakers but locals have warned that undercurrents can make it dangerous for swimmers. Volunteer lifeguards patrol the beach in the peak summer season but that does not usually start until June.
