The appeal of SCT to the lifesaving world and tourism industry is to join efforts to prevent tourists from drowning. This article refers to initiatives taken in Australia, the Philippines and Thailand which proof that joined efforts between the tourism industry and lifesaving organizations to promote drowning prevention is possible. These initiatives should be followed worldwide.
